About The Founder
I’m Linda Fitzpatrick and Work That Satisfies is an aspiration for me. In my long life, my work has brought me a lot of joy and a sense of accomplishment. I’ve also known failure that has taken me to my knees in frustration and horror.
I have a low tolerance for boredom, so I’ve reinvented my professional life nearly every 10 years. I was a Corporate market researcher for a long time laying the groundwork for the magic of today’s supermarkets. I worked in teams that set strategic direction for national brands like Ragu, the spaghetti sauce folks and Country Time Lemonade, and many others.
I started a successful women’s forum in New York that still prospers. I ran my own research consultancy - it’s won some prestigious awards.
I champion disability rights and published a groundbreaking book on that. I volunteered for decades as a pro bono counselor at a renowned community service agency. Now, I’m an avid student of traditional Chinese martial arts. I’m a certified meditation teacher.
As a lifelong learner, I will continue to learn, quite likely from you and other searchers.
I would be honored to help you in some small way with making your work more satisfying. Thank you for visiting! Reach out anytime, I’m LindaF@workthatsatisfies.com
